On 1 January 2011 the Committee on National Cohesion  (CNC; in Hungarian N\u00d6B\/Nemzeti \u00d6sszetartoz\u00e1s Bizotts\u00e1ga) was established, which deals specifically with the issues of Hungarians beyond the borders. The establishment of the committee was also symbolically significant because there was no independent committee in the Hungarian Parliament dealing with <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/reo.dev.vargadigital.com\/en\/szocikk\/kin-state-policy\/\"   title=\"kin-state policy\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"6738\">kin-state policy<\/a> or the issue of Hungarians beyond the borders. The Committee on National Cohesion  maintains contact with the social and political organisations of Hungarians beyond the border, monitors the events of Hungarian <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/reo.dev.vargadigital.com\/en\/szocikk\/national-policy\/\"   title=\"National policy\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"6663\">national policy<\/a> and the work of institutions involved in kin-state policy. The panel hears the heads of the ministries also responsible for kin-state policy issues and will discuss the annual report of <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/reo.dev.vargadigital.com\/en\/szocikk\/bethlen-gabor-fund\/\"   title=\"Bethlen G\u00e1bor Fund\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"6885\">Bethlen G\u00e1bor Fund<\/a> Management Ltd. (Bethlen G\u00e1bor Fund).
